COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Mechanical course focuses on the critical cooling and ventilation systems essential for maintaining optimal operating conditions in a data center. Students will learn to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including chillers and cooling towers, while applying mechanical theory to ensure efficiency and prevent downtime. Emphasis is placed on preventive maintenance and understanding system dynamics, from airflow management to energy conservation.
CERTIFICATION
Participants will be awarded the Certified Data Center Mechanical Technician (CDCM-T) certification, signifying expertise in maintaining mechanical systems within data centers.
